I can understand a loss of time.

I have successfully verified the site with Google & Bing

The problem was the Boxes where the info supplied was supposed to be "pasted" did not show up. It was only by luck the mouse "happened to highlight the box as it past over it. Lucky

I have actually received the "meta tag from Google" so presumably it is a simple case of installing the tag into the meta area. So I will have a go and let you know if it woks, fingers crossed

Correct. This is for security reasons on a multi-user platform.
