If you installed it with fantastico, you are on a self-hosted site that uses the wordpress.org version of the software. This site, wordpress.com, uses a different version of the software. You will need to see if the support forums at wordpress.org can help you. Someone may be able to offer some back door methods to get to your password information since you should have full access to all the files on your server. Or you might check out their codex on passwords. Be very careful, you have the power to really mess things up...
