No there's no other way.
What I've done is bookmark my dashboard, and when I'm on another computer I just type the URL of my blog followed by this - it's not hard to remember:
/wp-admin

justpi, thank you -- but I tried the Meta Widget, and it doesn't do what I'm looking for.

Bookmarking the page I want won't work for me because I don't always log on from the same computer.

Is there any other way to change the page I see when I first log in? I would love some more detailed help with this. I'm not a novice, but I'm not a blogging expert either.

Please help. How do I change the first page I see when I log into my WordPress account? That's all I want to know. I do NOT want to have to bookmark the page I want just to get there in the future. I want it to show up immediately and automatically as soon as I log in on wordpress.com.

What I want is to be directed right to my Dashboard. That's all. I don't need "Blogs I Follow" or any of that other stuff. I just want my Dashboard.

It used to be that I was taken right to Freshly Pressed, which I didn't mind so much because it was interesting. But please stop asking me if I want to follow any blogs, because I don't.

Please help. This is really frustrating. I have yet to get a straight answer to this question after months of asking.
