You're welcome. The export and import manoeuver is very easy and as the blog is new there isn't much content so I doubt that this will cause any issues at all. A mirror blog is IMHO the best thing for any new blogger to create. You can export and import content into it periodically. It's so cool to be able to try everything out in before you make any changes to your main blog. Happy blogging!

P.S. I would definitely not do the change blog address trip at all. Too many bloggers muck that up and end up crying the blues on this forum every day.

What I would do is register the new blog. Export the content out of the first blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/ and import it into the new one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/

Then I would make the first blog "private" http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ and use it as a mirror blog for testing and backup of the new blog.
