Oh, I get it now! A message for the not so technology savvy: If you want to add more pages to the menu, the page has to be published before it will appear at the top as a menu selection. I was approaching it from the back of the house and couldn't figure out why it would not appear. Pages will not just appear as a place holder if they do not have contect. Thanks! :-)

It should appear. If not, you can add it to your menu by creating your own via Appearance -> Menus in your blog's Dashboard.

When it is published, will the Archives page appear at the top with the About and Home page? I've toyed with it and I still can't seem to get it. I have the archives in draft, but I tried it as a test and it didn't seem to work...

Well, you only have 1 page, About, plus the virtual Home page. You also have an Archives page in Draft, but this won't appear until it's published.

You do have 6 posts, but these aren't pages.

This still is not working for me. When I try to use the custom menu, it will only allow for a "home" and "about" page (there is no other option for me to check). I cannot put anymore pages in the menu. When I try and create a page, it does not put it in the top menu as a default nor does it give it to me as an option for the custom menu.

Sure, you can customize the top menu any way you want, with the Custom Menus editor. Of course, if you don't want to use that, when adding a new page, Manifest will automatically list it in its default (not customized by you) menu.

I would like to use the manifest theme but I am having difficulty adding pages to the menu. It only gives me the option of having a "home" and "about" page at the top of my blog. I've tried to create more pages without success. Others I see you using the manifest theme are able to have "archives" among other pages, so I know it is possible. I do understand where to go and what to do, I am just not able to make the changes stick. I am not very tech savvy, so, be gentle. Can you walk me through how to add more pages to the menu using the manifest theme?
