Please read what justpi said at that link:

The first image links to:
http://www.youtube.com/user/kaoritubes?feature=mhee
The other two don't work because you have omitted the http:// from the URLs. http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/social-icons-will-not-appear-sideways?replies=4#post-901564

I put a separate post for this topic because the problem was no longer about the icons not aligning side by side anymore. Since the other post I wrote was specifically asking for help on icon alignment problem I didn't think people would pick up on the new problem that I was having. If u compare this post with my other post, you will see that with this post I actually give the details on the problem I have with linking URL and icons. I only mentioned about the new problem I was having with the URL and icons in my previous post because I was more less hoping that you might answer it, since you were the one that helped to resolve the issue with icon alignment. But, as I said before, I didn't think people would take a look at my previous post since the title only addressed about icon alignment, not about my new problem with linking URL and icons.

I've been trying to link up my icons on a text widget with a URL so that clicking the icon would open up the new site. I've been creating, then deleting, then creating again and again the html code for my icons as well as linking up each icon with a URL using the link button on the visual editor in a post. I've cut down on the number of icons to just 3 and out of the three, it's always the link to my youtube page that works and never for twitter and facebook. For these 2 URL, I always get a: "oops that page can't be found" and when I look at the URL, it's not http://www.twitter.com (for example), it's always in this kind of a format where the URL for my blog precedes the actual link that I want my icon to lead to: http://kaorinews.wordpress.com/www.twitter.com

What am I doing wrong? I would really appreciate some assistance with this. Thank you.
