Thank you for the feedback - it has been registered and we will consider it for the future improvements.

In the meantime, you could have an event calendar as a plugin if you chose to move to a self-hosted WordPress site. Self-hosting WordPress allows you as a site owner more flexibility, but it also come with more responsibilities. Please read about the differences:
