Thanks "justjennifer" Thought that was where I was going wrong but could only find the name on hover. Found it in the browser bar now though so have actioned and it seems to have worked.

To "Timethief". Thanks for heads up. I do usually use the word icon to post word docs but hadn't worked out that plain text needs treating the same way. You learn something every day. Bit of a newbie to blogging, (you can probably tell!) so tend to experiment a bit until I understand what I am doing. Have tried your correction suggestion in writings. As teacher says "Must try harded" Thanks!

@windfarmaction The image ID is not the name of the file. It's the numbers that appear in the image attachment link.

@windframaction
thescredpath has already posted what I would have posted regarding your image problem. Please try again.

On another issue, I see that you appear to be copying and pasting text without using the appropriate icons either 5 ( Paste as Plain Text ) or ( Paste from Word) in Row 2 of the Visual editor to strip extraneous code and insert the remainder into a post. This can produce unexpected results that will mess up your blog.

Go to settings > Writing and select “ ___ WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and then click “Save Changes.”

Please see here so you know how to do this correctly in the future. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text

On my fun stuff page I have a gallery of new things that we sell at our tent at Highland Games and through our magazine. Problem is that it picks up the featured image for that page. We do not sell through the Blog. Just list some new things that we have available. Can I keep the featured image but loose it off the gallery. When I removed it from the gallery it disappeared from the featured image in the header.
