When you do a complete export and then import the exported XML file there is a prompt asking if you wish to include the attachments. The attachments are your images and other media.

When I import the exported XML file from wordpress.com (saltandserenity.com) it doesn't import all the files, nor does it import the media files. I've tried splitting the XML file into 3 chunks, but had the same issue. There is no size restriction on my new server.
I need this moved over for a client ASAP. Help?

Also, how do I transfer the subscribers/followers to the new blog?
