I do not understand why businesses such as WordPress and Google insist on 'fixing' what is not broken. But since Microsoft does it with every iteration of Windows, perhaps it's merely a case of 'job justification" rather than a true improvement.

When you hover your cursor over it, it underlines.
I cannot figure out how to get rid of it. I dislike it, and did not intentionally put it there. How do I get rid of it, and why is there in the first place??
