We have an image widget to use as described here:

It's a matter of dragging the widget to your sidebar and adding your picture.

Please be aware that there are different kinds of wordpress. These forums are for technical help with wp.COM. Plugins and themes you find on the internet are most likely for wp.ORG. Big Difference!!
