As an experiment I sent an invitation to myself (with a different email address).

When I "accept" the invitation it takes me to the login page, but I can't login as a new user because I don't have a username or password yet.

What am I supposed to be seeing here? How do I set up a new user?

Also, is it possible to allow readers to make a request to become a user?
