It's a bit clunky the way it is, but deleting blogs is certainly possible. I do it occasionally.

From the main dashboard, go to blog surfer, and you can see all of the blogs you 'follow' (which is probably none, as it doesn't seem like a very popular featuer).

It won't display the subscribers in your sidebar, though.

As for how to get your blog better-known, there are over a thousand tips in the forum already, so do a search for related terms, check the tag cloud in the sidebar of the forum, and take it a bit at a time.
