We can't give an appropriate answer without a link to the blog you're importing them TO. No matter what, you shouldn't have to copy-paste entire blogs. There are options.

I was hoping there would be a simpler way than having to copy and paste every journal entry. My second question is if I have to enter each entry individually, how can I do that by making posts on different pages? I can see the "Add New Post" page, but I don't see where I select which page I want to add a new post to.
