You can't delete user accounts, correct:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

That link also includes instructions for changing your email address. Once you have tried that, please let me know if you have any issues.

I would recommend first updating you password to something stronger. Once that takes effect, you should have no trouble changing your username.

Try something a little more unique.) and doesn't let me change the username, I have tried clearing my browsers cache and cookies and this didn't work either. I have also used 3 different browsers to no avail.
