The theme appears to be designed so that when a featured post with a featured image is marked sticky and displays in the slider, then it does not also appear in on the same page ie. front page again.

I've set up sticky posts along with a featured image. The feature image displays as expected but my latest posts don't and the only way I can get to them is by selecting the feature image, I don't understand why.

What do I need to do so that my latest post (e.g. from today) displays on the landing page (e.g. latest posts) even if it has a sticky and featured image set?

I noticed, none of the posts I've set with a sticky and featured image display at all. Again the only way I get to them is by selecting the featured image on the slider.
