Thank you for investigating this yourself and getting back with me. You are correct that if my posts only contain an image, they appear under "Activity" on Facebook. I was not looking in my "Activity" feed but in my regular feed.

As for it not showing up on Tumblr before... I am not sure what I did differently because my test image today did in fact show up on all 3 of my linked 3rd party sites (Facebook "Activity", Twitter, and Tumblr).

I conclude that I actually do not have any issues with Publicize and thanks for pointing out that image posts are handled differently by Facebook and show up in the "Activity" feed.

I've done some testing and it seems that as long as I insert the image into the post itself (which is how this is expected to work), then it Publicizes correctly to Facebook. Note that image-posts are shown in a slightly different place in Facebook, see below:

My test image post appears on the right (under "Activity"), while my other posts appear throughout my timeline (e.g. on the left, and right). This is because of how Facebook handles the different media types.

If you're still having trouble, can you please provide me with a link to any posts on your website where you've had this problem, and ideally a step-by-step list of exactly how you're posting so that I can try to reproduce and fix it.

I made a post format of Image and it fails to post to Facebook or Tumblr, but it does post to Twitter successfully. I made a second post of Standard Format after the Image Format and the Standard Format posted to Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter just fine (those are the only social connections I have made). So I do not believe it is a connection issue with Facebook or Tumblr.

Has anyone else noticed this?
