Every site I have transferred has had a period of time that I could not access it but others could -

I've done this before about a year ago with another website, and didn't have this problem.

It can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to migrate across the internet and due to caching issues you will be the last one to see the changes -

Today, I transferred that domain to another register. I installed wordpress.org on my new host, but every time I try to go to http://www.thegeekmates.com/wp-admin , it redirects me to https://thegeekmates.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

Why is it doing this? What can I do to change this?
