Now how would I go about moving the left sidebar and blog posts to the left so that the main post section would actually be in the center not to the right?

That's the default behavior for the Ari theme. You can see it in the demo and showcase page here:
http://aridemo.wordpress.com/
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/ari/

You won't be able to see widgets in the demo because there is not a way to set widgets through the live preview feature. To see the right sidebar for Ari in action, you can switch to that theme and setup some widgets.

Your site is private. That means I have to work with the demo site for Ari. The demo site content (left sidebar, content, right sidebar) are centered in the browser window. If I can't see the site I haven't a clue.

I am interested in the Ari theme and would like to make the left sidebar scroll with the rest of the blog. I emailed support and they said this would be possible with the custom design upgrade and that I should look in the forums to find out how to do this. What do I need to do to the CSS? Thanks.
