Yep, I like opening links in a new window (or tab as I use Opera), but just holding the shift button and clicking the link will force a new tab. :)

It's considered back form as 1) It's an accessability issue and 2) "If I want to open a new window, I'll do it myself. Don't you dare tell me I have to open a new window!" old farts like myself. :)

I agree though. Links off of site I like to open in a new window.

If you are using the Rich Editor to set your links, the second line gives you an option to open in the same window or in a new window. (I agree with you, Collin.)

in the html for the link before the closing /> put in target="_blank".

That will force the link to open in a new window.

I should mention that it's considered bad form to do that, but I've never figured out why!

when i compose a new post that includes a link, the link won't open in a new window. how can i enable a link to open in a new window? ty
