1) You could keep your site at WordPress.com and add your own custom domain. Here's how to register and add a new domain to your WordPress.com site

2) If you need the features of a self-hosted WordPress.org site, you can move your site to your own hosting. You can learn more here about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. You can also read more about the options for moving to a self-hosted site.

I"m so sorry but doing what you suggested in "Pages" did not help. It's just blank with titles.
I'm just looking to get the "about" prompt back in the header.
