I'm going to try Webmaster Tools..hopefully it's a false alarm. For future reference, why would a specific URL turn up in a malware scan if it's not actually on the site?

Once you are on WordPress.COM warnings like that are usually (so far all have been) - links to sites that are attack sites - once the links have been removed things get better -

check links in the sidebar first (easiest) then start checking the Posts and Pages

About two months ago, when it was still hosted somewhere else (she hasn't been able to tell me where it was hosted before), a malware warning appeared. This occurs across all browsers. I thought that by moving the site over to WordPress it might take care of the problem but the warning is still there.
What else should I try - and what other info do you need in order to advise me on what to do?
