I don’t know why you saw the need to change, but my humble opinion, the old model is the easier one !
I found another adresse - https:// (your blog or site adresse) /wp-admin/upload.php – I can download images without difficulties but to attach the pictures to my post any indication !! Please find a solution as quickly as possible. Thanks.
