Is there a reason to not hide the link?

No but it's going to cost you $30.00 every year to hide it. Does that sit well with you?

I am a bit on the low tech side of things and not exactly sure what rss is supposed to do. I am using this blog as a "website" so there will not be any real post just static pages with limited interaction from people who visit.

(2) Yes you can purchase a custom design upgrade and do the required CSS editing to hide the link but what's the point in doing that? All WordPress blogs have multiple built-in feeds and hiding the link doesn't eliminate the feeds. Moreover the syntax is well known, the feeds will remain active, and we can't prevent anyone from subscribing to them. http://en.support.wordpress.com/feeds/

There is an arrow going to a link that is an rss feed. I don't work with rss feeds so I have a couple of questions about this link.

1) Is it possible to change that rss link to another link of my choosing and if so how to do it.

2) If it is not possible to change this link, is it possible to remove it from the Theme?
