I’d like to enable the optional home page slideshow, it puts a blank spot under my blog description where the pics should go. I have just begun to get serious about blogging (my last post before today was almost a year ago). Could this have something to do with it?

Just wondering what would make this happen. I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall the theme. Didn't know if that would be necessary.
