My issue is my self hosted domain has expired, I have moved my files from the domain onto my desktop, but can't find the correct xml file to add to my wordpress.com
My initial self hosted site was http://www.holisticempath.info. I want to put it at reikiempath.wordpress.com
I have the files, but don't know where the xml is located to upload it on the wordpress.com site.
Any help Macman....lol

I've gotten further than I did in Firefox. Now it's telling me "Processing… We're processing your import now and will send you an email when it's all done. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we'll get everything fixed."

I followed the steps clearly lined out here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ under the second section Moving From WordPress.org but get stuck on the last step. When I select the XML file and click "upload file and import" I get an error screen that says:

The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

The problem isn't with my internet provider or Firefox since I can still open other tabs and browse other websites without any issues. I've tried at different times of night and day and nothing seems to work. HELP!!

I really need to get this blog and another one moved so I don't have to pay for hosting for another year.
