I am moving my blog over to a site that uses WordPress.org. They said that I need the ability to update the "A Record" for the domain in order to point to their servers. He said that if I can’t do that with WordPress, then I need to transfer my domain to someone like GoDaddy. From reading thru the help files here, it doesn’t look like I will be able to do that.

What happens to my mapping now? Do I need to buy the site redirect in addition to the mapping – I just bought the domain name & mapping in Sep.
