If you have a wordpress.org blog then be aware that wordpress.com and wordpress.org run on different software and you are in the wrong forum. The correct forum is here http://wordpress.org/support for all blogs that are not hosted by wordpress.com. For further clarity consult the sticky post at the head of the forum "Please read me first before posting" http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700&page&replies=1

Is it necessary to reinstall WP and all of its sub-directories and their contents to have a second blog in the original DB? I'm just thinking there ought to be an easier, less KB consuming, way. Is there someway to have the second blog use some of the original blog's WP files? I hope, I hope. I did read the info in the above topic, (faq and codex) but it wasn't quite clear enough on the matter.
