I'm still trying to get my head around all that.

Just to clarify, I'm using a mac and I'm using the chunk theme with custom CSS coding.

So that rules out windows live writer. Im trying to achieve the post being search engine friendly, otherwise I can just create a jpg with my desired columns.

Any further advice would be fab! Thanks again.

You need inline CSS instead, that is, properties and values in the style attribute. If you do not or cannot use WLW then provide the all your specifications for the HTML table required and you can get coding help here on the forum.

I would like to use multiple columns of text on one of my static pages in order to not one long line (I'm listing things) of text. Is this possible and if so how?
