Hi again,
What you describe is normal behavior. Post URLs contain the date stamp reflecting their date of publication. I'm happy to hear you have resolved this. Best wishes for happy blogging. :)

Kellywpa: Just as a point of interest, There's only one sticky. I would have had three, but I'm allowed only one, for which reason I crammed three into one. It's just as well. It could get out of control.

Okay. It's me. It was a draft that I wasn't able to get to, while I did other stuff in the meantime. When I finally finished and publicized it, the date of the draft became the date of publishing, which I'm not sure makes sense. But that's how it played out. Those following my blog might miss it for that reason. I think that the date of publication should be the date of publication.

If you read your sticky note, you say that there are 3 stickies and what they and the most current post is after those 3. I didn't count, but I did see it there.

Normally, My most recent post is the first one after my sticky-? I found a link to the post under the 'publicize' section of my blog: http://wp.me/sIo6w-adjusted It must be there if there's a link to it that works. I don't see Adjusted on my blog, but I'll go see if it's down somewhere. As I said, I don't understand why it wouldn't be the first post after my sticky, unless I'm losing it. That's a distinct possibility given what I'm dealing with right now.

The post is there. When you have a sticky, that goes to the top. I found it by looking at your calender for July. It is on your main page but you have to scroll down.

I stated in my above post that the missing post on my blog is titled "Adjusted." Yes, The top post is a sticky with a fair bit of info in it just because I'm only allowed the one sticky, which I'm not complaining about.

No I am not referring to a different blog. (I hope I never become that dopey.) I have it under the category of 'General'. It is not a page. The visibility is set to public. I can't make heads or tails out of this. It also shows as having been published 2011/ 07/ 27.

I noticed that my dashboard info says there are no tags for that post. I attached about 5 tags-?

Well, I'm mystified. My last post simply does not appear on my blog. I can't see why. The only thing I can think of is that someone may have mischievously flagged it as adult. But it's purely political and doesn't touch on adult themes at all. I'm aware that my posts on 'romance' run the risk of being flagged - for which reason I always keep those within the bounds of propriety. This last post, titled 'Adjusted' isn't in my Romance category.

I'm obviously reluctant to ignore this and try other posts, but if I don't figure this out, I may have to just push forward. If I'm suddenly not able to post posts, then I'll have to figure out why and deal with it. Right now, I'm lost.

I welcome any thoughts about this.
