I've seen MANY cases where image URLs have caused problems, including on my own site; I used an image from a spammy site and it got my own site suspended.

I'm afraid you'll have to find workarounds. If the thing has been blogged about, link to the blog rather than to Google or the Gap.

The link works when I choose the "view your post" option while still writing the post. However, it does not work when I publish the post. Also, the spacing in my post also disappears. Wherever I started a new line, the extra line space disappears in the publish post.
