<p>What's strange is that folks were seeing the About Page link and assumed that it was the tagline and not thinking it was a page.  Maybe that's a down side of that theme.

I suggest to people using such themes that they use a text widget and write their tagline inside that then place it at the top of the sidebar.

In case you want to change later sulz is right, it's a theme dependent feature and not all themes have tag lines. The features of each theme were defined by the original designer.
