With only two widget areas stretching across the bottom anything that is narrow, such as the facebook like box or the stats widget is going to look bad. There really isn't much way around that I'm afraid. It would actually be better if their were three widget areas at the bottom because it would make all of them narrower.

My site - http://limebirduk.wordpress.com/ has widgets in footer right and footer left. It all looks a bit cluttered, so I was wondering if there is any way to put some up on the right/ left hand side at all?
