I'd go to view the page and all of the blanks in the form were filled in with my stuff!

That is normal and happens with all browsers if you are logged in - WordPress.COM sets a cookie to remember who you are as you move from page to page which causes the form to be filled in when you visit it. If I visit your site I would see MY information filled in if I was logged in.

Thanks sacredpath and timethief (again) for your help. I decided to ditch Chrome as a general suspect because I had trouble setting up a Contact Me page, too. I'd go to view the page and all of the blanks in the form were filled in with my stuff!
I'm so glad everyone is telling me I can have more than 5 widgets!!! I thought that was the limit with my template when it said it came with 5 widgets.
I spend an inordinate amount of time in the support pages/videos trying to figure out how to set up my site the way I want. It would sure help if what they SHOW matched what I HAVE in terms of buttons and screens. However, I am achieving my goal of becoming more computer literate!

You can have as many widgets in the sidebar as you care to put in there, even multiples. I've seen sites with over 30 widgets in the sidebar.

I suspect you are using the Chrome browser. Google in their infinite wisdom did not include a feed reader in Chrome. You have to either use a separate feed reader service such as google reader, or go to the Chrome store and download an RSS feed add-on/plugin and install it in Chrome.

The 2 RSS feeds are built in and I want them because I'm only allowed 5 widgets. I was trying to set up a feed because when I clicked on the RSS button, I saw only HTML and some message about it not being set up.
Anyway, I happened to go to my Dad's and I looked at my blog on HIS computer and the RSS subscription stuff was there for my readers. When I came back to forums to thank anyone who had attempted to help me, I saw another poster with an RSS feed problem and apparently Google Chrome doesn't support feeds. Well, I was using Chrome to LOOK at my blog. Will have to use another browser, I guess, because this is the second time I couldn't SEE something that was actually working as it should. Airodyssey, many thanks for your time.

Hi. What is it that you want to do? Your message says what you did, but I still don't understand what you are trying to do. Also:

nothing activates that RSS button at top

Please explain what you mean by "activating".

Google said to go into Presentation > Widgets but I have no such tab in my Dashboard.

Please elaborate: where did you see those instructions? Also, those two RSS feed links on the top right corner are built into the theme, but I think there is a way to remove them.
