You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

I'm trying to make a blog with the domain name "blphysicspd4gp1.wordpress.com" I recently made this site and realized I messed it up, so I deleted it and tried to start from scratch. It seems that, even though I went through all the steps of deleting the blog, the domain name is still listed as being used. Is there a way to access this domain name so I can start fresh, or is it permanently unavailable?
