My vote on Lightword theme. It's just the perfect theme with the perfect typography which simple and clean.

I have been trying to apply the Minimatica [http://www.onedesigns.com] theme to my blog site. But I am not finding it listed on wordpress.com, but it is still one of the top popular themes on wordpress.org? Can any1 direct me to another customizable theme that offers audio & video playback with image gallery slider photoblogging home page setting, social bookmarking, threaded comments and author highlighting?

We've got some great photo blogging themes here at WordPress.com. All of our themes support threaded comments and social bookmarking. As for featured image sliders, the premium theme Linen (which you can find among the themes in the link I provided above), supports a featured image slider.
