As you’ve said in your second post here, fgp exists as both a parent and a child category. My guess is you have typed it twice, and that must be why you cannot edit it. Will you please activate the Categories widget?

I guess I just deleted the child categories from the posts. Now those posts don't have the category "Fused Glass Pendants."

Does it really matter at this point? The posts are pretty old.

You can move all of the posts from the child category to the parent one by following these steps:

1) Go to Posts -> Edit and choose the child category from the "View all Categories" drop-down menu.

2) Use the Bulk Edit feature to modify a group of posts in one step - http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#bulk-edit
