http://i.cubeupload.com/vEOvha.jpg

When I search for my page on google, it shows up on page 2, but it doesn't show up with the right page description. I've researched meta tags, and after learning that they must be out of date, I need to know how my site description is picked up. Clearly it has taken the description from my latest post date and tags for that post, but how do I get google to crawl for my own description?
