I am using Nuntius with the News Theme for my recipe blog.

It used to bring up various categories (Sweet, Savory, Drinks) below the featured articles in the slider. However, today, as I was editing some posts... it brought up Recipes (the parent category) as well on my page. Now, it has Sweet, Savory, Drinks, AND Recipes... since all of the recipes are categorized under the parent "Recipes"... it's causing this new Recipes section to feature pretty much everything and leaving the other categories featuring only one recipe.

It looks awkward and makes no sense...

What have I possibly done to unwittingly cause this shift? What can I possibly do to fix it? It's making my blog look sort of illogical and silly and that has me in a totally panic and super bummed out...

Please help!
