I would like to do a search widget instead of an account widget. This is not available at wordpress.com but is at Twitter. Suggestions?

It's not working for me either and I don't have a prefab twitter widget with my wordpress.org site.

There is. The code contains some safety risks, which is why we have a prefab Twitter widget on the Widgets page. Put the link to your account in there and it works just fine.

Hello. I tried to use an official Twitter widget (one from Twitter's website) on my blog. Twitter's instructions told me to copy the html code of the widget onto my website, which I did, and I did do it in html mode, but nothing happened when I looked at the actual page I put it on. Is there a restriction on Twitter widgets or something? Thanks.
