i spent some hours on the board but didn't find what I was looking for (should I have overlooked something, I'm sorry...)

My problem: I'm looking for a wdiget that lets it content be controlled by a click within the post column. The idea is to annotate a text via numbering within the post, than fill a text widget in the sidebar with the corresponding note by clicking on its number in the text.

Up to now I just found a lot of plugins controlling widget visibility, not much stuff on directly controlling the content. Does anyone where or how to start?
