Whatever you do, DO NOT change the permalinks (also known as "slugs"), otherwise people who had bookmarked your blog entries or who find them on Google will end up with a "file not found" error message.

How do I indicate a phrase in the permalink window of the "edit post" page? My post is about Black Labs or Labrador Retrievers, both open compound words. Do I convert them to a closed compound (BlackLab)? Would that confuse the bots? Or what? You probably can realize that hypenating it would be nonproductive. I don't want to misdirect lab technicians or Labrador Islanders. Get it? Or does it matter? Thanks!
