Also wordpress.com blogs cannot be used to drive traffic to 3rd party sites - see section 2, 5th bullet http://wordpress.com/tos/

If you want a commercial blog then IMO your best course of action is to hire a web host and download the free software from http://wordpress.org

It might be allowed but you'd need to contact staff to check first; the FAQs say you can have a discreet link to your business in the sidebar so it might be okay, but you'd have to check to be sure.
