Done it once before and all fine. But on this page the anchor tags that I insert, in front of the relevant title just disappears once I save the draft.

Here is the code as support writes it on the Page Jump page in the support pages: See?

I use numerical system so this would be an actual example from my site: (I have deleted "see?" as I don't want to add the title there, rather just have the anchor besides the relevant title).

Is this a bug or am I staying up too late?

BTW, I'm using Fress News template for wp.com if that matters.
