The Posterous Backup does not include the Pages and WordPress makes that clear in the Known Issues

However I have written a Posterous to WordPress page export using the API's provided. Give it a go

Hope this is helpful for anyone else who thought they would be stuck manually migrating a load from pages in Posterous.

Please let us know how it goes with a fresh backup from Posterous. If it doesn't work out, we can try importing into an new/empty blog to see if that makes any difference and go from there.

I tried the import again but Pages and other items aren't being picked up. I am now requesting a new backup from Posterous and will try again.

Trying to move the site isn't proving to be simple!

Is http://gilnahirk.wordpress.com/ the blog you're referring to?

If so, would you please try the import one more time? It won't duplicate anything, but it will probably pick up what it missed. If that does nothing, try getting a fresh export file out of Posterous and give that a shot.

My Pages and Links seem to have disappeared when I run the import from Posterous
