blog entry:
http://jennysnuzie.wordpress.com/2012/08/30/kollar-en-grej/

My friend recieved a "new post" notification, and to clarify she could see the content of the post in the actual email and didn't have to even open the post itself on the blog web page.

Thank you for looking into this, it's much appreciated. I removed the "follow my blog via e-mail" widget for now and changed my password, but that won't do much good if subscribers can see protected posts without the password. Again, thank you.

Howdy!

Users who are subscribed to your blog should not be able to access password protected content without the required password.

Can you please provide a link to the protected content so I can investigate the issue further? Additionally, can you let me know what sort of email (new post notification, comment notification, etc.) your friend received that allowed her to access the post?

Best,
P.

I made a post which was password protected. A friend of mine was able to view the post in its entirety in her email program (Apple's email program). She's subscribed to my blog. Why is this possible? It shouldn't be taken for granted that all those who subscribe to a blog should be able to see all password protected posts as well as those that are available to all.
