I've already contacted PayPal support about this subject.
I've been informed that the "Bank account validation"[1] method is not supported for all countries (Portugal in my case).
In these situations, credit card method is mandatory.

The only methods of payment for upgrades are major credit cards from approved countries and PayPal supported countries. There are no other payment options. I was filling out the form for purchasing my domain.
When i press Purchase and chose Paypal, a crédit car number is requested.
Why is that, if i want to use the money already in my Paypal account?
