			<description><![CDATA[<p>Not sure which docs you're looking at.  Here's the <a href="http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/12/what-are-the-different-roles/">FAQ</a> on the subject.  We had the subscriber level but it was removed.  </p>
<p>Views have to have a wp.com account but they don't need a blog.  That's an option when they create an account.  Here's the <a href="http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/can-i-password-protect-my-whole-blog/">FAQ</a> on teh subject if you want to check it out.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I've chosen to have my blog private and only allow specific access to invited users.<br />
I read in the documentation that 'subscriber' is the most basic role in the free WP.com blogs.  However, when I go to add another user 'subscriber' is not an option in the pull down list.  Why?</p>
<p>Related to that question, I am also wondering if all subscribers to my private invitation-only blog are required to set up a WP.com account.  Yes?
