Will you please provide an active link starting with http:// to the exact blog in question. This answer applies only to free hosted WordPress com blogs. It does not apply to WordPress.org installs. All WordPress.com blogs come with 3000 megabytes (~3 GBs) of space for storing uploaded files and images. If you need more space you can purchase a space upgrade > http://en.support.wordpress.com/space-upgrade/

We Volunteers have discovered that many bloggers are uploading HUGE images from their cameras and using the cropper to scrunch them down to fit. That's like parking a Mac truck and trailer unit in a parking space for a Vespa and the results are wasted image storage space and loss ot image quality.
