I checked the posts and I will take what I have. Almost all photos are in the correct posts. The negative, none are attached. I am thankful I used a naming convention for the file name (post title + position number).

I plan on visiting the media library and use the bulk feature to attach the appropriate images to their respective posts.

Consider this topic closed. Thanks for everything. This is the second to best scenario and I appreciate all the help I received here.

Delete the 33 posts that were imported to dgragg5 (you can do this in bulk via checkboxes in the Posts section), empty the Trash (otherwise they'll still exist and be considered duplicates), then try the import one more time.

Here's the skinny... hope this helps:
33 posts (2/12/11 to 1/14/12) originated from blogspot.
I created a second WP blog (http://dgragg5mygirls.wordpress.com) to import only these 33 blogspot posts.
I made slight changes in order to make certain they would match my primary blog (http://dgragg5.wordpress.com/). This blog has posts from 7/24/12 to current.

After importing the 33 posts from dgragg5mygirls to dgragg5 I noticed some have:
.:: the correct photos within the post, but the featured image is incorrect.
.:: the wrong photos within the post.

The incorrect photos are primarily from those uploaded to dgragg5.
I have not noticed any issues with the posts originally made to dgragg5.

The old blog was blogspot and I imported it to a new WP blog. I made all necessary modifications to match the target WP blog (e.g., theme, categories).

Last night I imported the WP blog to the target WP blog. Everything matches except for some photos are incorrectly associated with posts. These are photos from the target WP and not from the import.

Fixing photos is what took forever after importing from blogspot. I thought using the same theme that the import from one WP to another would be simple.

Do I delete the imported 33 posts and import them again? Any suggestions are appreciated.
